The Girls volleyball “A” team destroyed the old Vail hawks. In the
preliminary semifinals of The Desert Valley Championships! The
ladies continue their 10 game undefeated streak, never losing a set!
“That’s quite an accomplishment.The 2018 championship match, will be
held today at RIncon Vista at 3:45. Come out and show that Cougar
Spirit! As we take on the RVMS Roadrunners and defend the
championship title for the 3rd consecutive year!
Attention football players, remember to turn in your CLEAN jersey to
Coach Jordan in room 304 asap. Also, don’t forget to join us on
Saturday at 10 o’clock at Golf N’ Stuff for games, pizza, and awards.

Did you know that World Peace Day is this Friday? Did you know that
communities and choirs all over the world are gathering on that day to
sing together for peace? Join us at the Desert Sky outdoor stage and
courtyard at 6:30 pm to participate in One Day One Choir.
Attention 6th through 8th grade girls – soccer season is almost here!
Whether you are already a soccer star, haven’t played in a couple
years, or brand new to the sport, we want YOU to be on our team. Sign
ups are this week before and after school in Mrs. Costa’s room. Room
This week is Spirit Week! Thursday is Walt Disney day-Wear your
favorite Disney attire! Let’s show that awesome Cougar Spirit!
Attention to all Desert Sky students! 2nd quarter sports sign-ups
start today. If you will be playing boys basketball, boys and girls
golf, or cheer please see Mr. Rodriguez before or after school in the
gym to sign-up. All girls soccer players please see Mrs. Costa if you
would like to sign-up for soccer. Sign-ups end this coming Friday, so
don’t miss your chance to get on the team.
Ride to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building while your friends
are in school! If your parents have not yet gone to an informational
meeting for the New York and Washington DC trip, there will be another
meeting on September 20th, at 5 p.m., in Ms. Galvan’s room. Can’t make
